Where in the hell did November come from????

I can't believe how long it's been since I last wrote. It's now November 4th. I am in my 5th to last week of school, and it's Friday of that week. Technically, I have 4 weeks and 4 days to go, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. The last time I wrote, I had 14 weeks left. Time flies when you're having fun!

Everything is going great, can't complain one bit. Hahhahahahahahhaha. Yeah right. You forget who you're dealing with. Work is wonderful- I'm busy, I like what I'm doing, there's great opportunity for growth, and most of the people are cool. When I'm not at work, my time is spent writing papers, creating presentations, putting together projects, studying for exams, writing essays, arguing with group members, writing papers, creating presentations, putting together projects, studying for exams, writing essays, arguing with group members, writing papers, creating presentations, putting together....anyway, you get the drift. SO, if I have offended you at all in the last year and a half, or for three years before that, I'm truly sorry. In less than 5 weeks, you will get more Erika than you will know what to do with :) Strap on your helmets, kids, it's going to be a wild ride.

Nick is pushing his way through the red tape at SLU with a vengeance. He's doing awesome in his classes- just yesterday he found out that he got A's on his midterm and paper in his African American Religion class. You GO you stud! It's always a nice turn when you do well in a class that you think you are going to hate. Being the humble Nick that he is, he doesn't talk much about his job to anyone, but it's awesome! When the survey ended at SLU that he was working on, he was one of two people they kept to continue with the next step of the survey, AND to begin another one. He's getting great compliments from his bosses and is making a wonderful impression. He loves what he's doing and this will look so good on his resume. Nick, I'm so proud of you.

Pete, Mickey and Chili are doing wonderful. Mickey and Chili are best buds and she's trying real hard not to be too rough when she rolls him around on the ground like he likes. Mr. Pete is back to having his "behavioral" problems. He misses Christopher. (If you don't know about his behavioral problems, don't ask. If you have a cat, you can probably guess.)

Chili was a chili pepper for Halloween. She went trick-or-treating at both grandparents' houses the night before Halloween. Eddie and Holly still refuse to let her in the front door, so that was a quick trip.

I just want to take a sec to say CONGRATULATIONS to my friend Stacie! Her and John were married September 24th. They are wonderful people and I am SO happy for them.

OH, and if I haven't told you yet, Sondra's moving home!!!!!! She was offered a job at Tarlton, and will be coming home the week of Thanksgiving. THANK THE ALMIGHTY FSM. (What is FSM you say? Check out http://www.venganza.org/ )

Well, that's the last 2 months in a nutshell.

Check ya later-
