Opal Iva Moersch
I'm sad to say that my great grandma died on Sunday, March 26 at the age of 92. Grandma Opal was the second wife of my great grandpa, father of my dad's dad.
Grandma Opal was the type of woman you don't really find much anymore; proper, soft spoken, so faithful in her religion, and graceful. When you were with her you felt as though you were in another era, another time- a time where people cared more about kindness and didn't rush through daily life.
She had a peaceful death, with only my grandpa in the room with her. As she said, she was ready to go Home, she was ready for God to call her. While at the same time it is sad to lose her, it's comforting to know that she is where she wants to be.
Here's to you Grandma Opal! We all miss and love you.
See you some day,
Erika
